Effective 06/15/2026 at 0800 am, all City of Weed issued burn permits will be suspended for outdoor residential burning. This suspension is due to an increase in fire potential from dry fuels and higher temperatures.

Although the burn permits are suspended, residents are encouraged to continue defensible space efforts around their properties.
