Municipal Parking Permit Program

If you are in a program area and want to obtain a permit, complete a Municipal Parking Permit Application, provide the vehicle registration(s), proof of residency, and submit by either:

 

  1. Mailing your application, a photocopy of your current DMV vehicle registration(s), local address (necessary only if the vehicle registration doesn’t show your current address) and proof of college student enrollment to the Weed Police Department, Attn: Records, P.O. Box 470, Weed CA  96094. Allow 1-2 weeks for processing and delivery.

 

  1. Faxing your application, a photocopy of your current DMV vehicle registration(s) local address (necessary only if the vehicle registration doesn’t show your current address) and proof of college student enrollment to (530)938-5005. Allow 1-2 weeks for processing and delivery.

 

  1. Sending an email to weedpd@ci.weed.ca.us. Please include attachments containing your application, a photocopy of your current DMV vehicle registration(s) local address (necessary only if the vehicle registration doesn’t show your current address) and proof of college student enrollment.  Please allow 1-2 weeks for processing and delivery.

 

  1. Applying at the Police Department Counter at 550 Main Street, Weed CA hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Please bring your completed application form, current DMV vehicle registration(s) local address (necessary only if the vehicle registration doesn’t show your current address) and proof of student enrollment.

 

Fees:  Non-college student: $250.00 per year

          College student with valid student ID $100.00 per year

 

Permits are valid for one year.  Permits will be available July 1 of each year and expiring on June 30 of each year.
