OBJECTIVES: The purpose of the street cleaning activity is to keep streets free and clear of debris, with special emphasis and exceptional cleaning of problem areas identified by previous experience.
LEVEL OF SERVICE: To sweep all streets having curb and gutter with the business areas being swept on a weekly basis and the residential areas on a weekly basis. During the winter months the streets are swept if the streets are free of snow. This activity also provides for the cost of emptying the street trash cans.
