OBJECTIVES: The snow removal activity provides for the clearing of public streets during snowy weather conditions to permit vehicle travel.
LEVEL OF SERVICE: To provide for the clearing of snow on streets during and after snowfalls with first priority on major streets including those serving the business and institutional areas and second priority on the local streets. To improve traction on the streets during the times of snow activity by the use of cinders and/or other materials.
