Recreation and park services are provided by the Weed Recreation and Park District, a special district encompassing Weed and the surrounding area. Four parks - Bel Air Park, Charlie Byrd (Lincoln) Park, Sons Park/Lobis Field and Carrick Park - with various amenities are available to serve the citizens. The Weed Recreation and Parks District was organized on November 21, 1950, for the purpose of providing a well-rounded quality recreation program, as well as adequate facilities for individuals of all ages.
